choctaw nation Commission

The images from the commission for the Choctaw Nation just came in, thanks to the photography skills of Darius Kuzmickas. The lighting slightly obscures the 30′ piece, but you can get the idea. My preference is for the lighting to be directly from the ceiling to the wall, illuminating the copper. But as in most cases there are other considerations, and in this case the interior designer has chosen suspended globe lighting, adding an architectural feature. This is one of four works installed in Durant, Oklahoma.
